Family Behavioral Health (FBH) is an integrated, intensive service area within Catholic Community Services of Western Washington (CCS), providing care using an individualized and tailored “wraparound” approach. We serve children/youth and families with complex needs and multi-system involvement. The impacts of trauma, systemic racism, and other social determinant challenges demand our compassion, humility, and flexibility. Family Behavioral Health has been among industry innovators who continually push the envelope and challenge traditional thinking about effective service delivery and question the status quo. FBH is committed to the development of a workforce that is representative of the rich diversity found in the youth and families we serve.

FBH System offices (aka sites) are located throughout Western Washington. Our 600+ staff serve families from multiple locations. Sites are located in Burien, Tukwila, Bremerton, North Tacoma, University Place, Olympia, Aberdeen, Vancouver- Salmon Creek, Vancouver-Oakview, and Portland. Our Burien site is housed with our Latino Civic Alliance partners, enabling our two organizations to work in tandem, serving the Latino population in South King County.

The FBH System strives to provide services with compassion, and in the way we would want our own children and families served. Our staff focuses on the strengths of every child, youth and family member. Services are creative and unique to each family. We work in a holistic manner, considering needs and natural supports beyond traditional mental health care (e.g. How is the family sleeping? Does the family have access to fresh fruits and vegetables? Does this family participate in outdoor activities? Do they have access to resources to support their own cultural traditions and beliefs?).
