Purpose Statement
The Operations Assistant provides administrative and continuous improvement process support services within a team environment for the plant.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Provides timely and accurate completion of all assigned daily, weekly, and monthly reports, presentations, manuals, etc.
- Manages special projects as assigned providing coordination as needed and ensures timelines are met. Provides administrative duties to include typing, telephones, filing, distributing correspondence, etc. Assists in basic troubleshooting on the production floor (i.e. printers, labelers, and basic office set up).
- Operates two-way radio to contact the Associates.
- Creates forms and manages interactions with an electronic tablet.
- Maintains adequate inventory of office supplies and manages purchasing of office supplies as needed. Maintains plants and office bulletin boards according to policy/compliance.
- Coordinates meeting resources such as assigning/scheduling meeting rooms, organizing A/V requirements and gathers materials.
- Creates OPL (one-point lessons) as needed.
- Creates customized training in Alchemy (Learning Management System).
- Supports LEDs (downtime tracking pool) implementation in areas of training, system reporting, troubleshooting, and daily reconciliation.
- Supports Associates in usage of daily tools including electronic tablets, LEDs, or other downtime tracker, measles maps, and other continuous improvement tools.
- Reconciles daily labor in SAP.
- Performs other related responsibilities as neededto support Rich's Products' Objectives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Candidatemust be able to adapt to changes in software, procedures, and techniques as they are constantly introduced into the current environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple assignments concurrently, process excellent organizational and time management skills, and be able function in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be able to handle matters with highly confidential nature. Attention to detail to all tasks is required.
- Candidate must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to facilitate constant interaction with a wide variety of personalities and management styles.
- Also, the ability to maintain focus on assigned tasks in spite of constant interruptions by telephone and personal contact is an essential component of the position.
- Candidate will need to be able to work effectively with others, both within the company and outside the company, to accomplish administrative duties.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must have the ability to work and contribute to Production Improvement, Associate Involvement, and Temporary Teams as assigned.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

$49,274.13-$66,665.00
