Job Description:
The ARBCMBCB plays a key role in overseeing and managing student academic records, registration processes, and compliance with academic policies and regulations for the College and Conservatory. This position requires a strong understanding of higher education administration, student information systems, specifically Colleague, Workday Student and Power Campus, and a commitment to student success and academic excellence.Essential Responsibilities:
Oversees the implementation and maintenance of the student information system (SIS) to support efficient and accurate record keeping for all Berklee students ( BCB/BCM)
Provides high quality functional support for Workday Student
Ensure compliance with institutional, state and federal regulations related to student records and data privacy.
Develop and deliver training programs for staff on SIS usage, data entry standards, and best practices in student record management to ensure all OREG staff have equal knowledge of College and Conservatory workflows.
Provide guidance and support to students, faculty and staff on registration procedures, academic requirements and graduation processes through visual media and short video enhancements
Serves as a resource for information and training regarding transfer credit and grades to the entire Berklee Community and especially to the Office of the Registrar, Academic Advising, department chairs and instructors.
Develop and implement a strategic approach for identifying students towards degree completion in conjunction with the Graduation Specialist and the Associate Registrar for BCM.
Manages the approval and processing of all aspects of the transfer credit processes which include but are not limited to Berklee Global Partners, Articulation agreements w/ BOL, implementation on TES. Works closely with Transfer Specialist to ensure timely, efficient and accurate transfer credit evaluations.
Supervisor for OREG Generalist (new position) who will support key staff positions during high volume events during the academic year.
Liaison for Conservatory curriculum and policy changes and update to ensure transparent, timely and accurate information is available to all Berklee students.
Other duties as assigned by Senior Associate Registrar or Registrar.
Required Skills and Experience
Master’s degree required, minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in Higher Education
Proven ability with various software systems and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Is highly motivated, detailed oriented and works effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to handle varied and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work with partners at all levels of the organization.
Proven service orientation and interpersonal acuity.
Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
