WIN Waste Innovations is a waste management company committed to delivering essential waste management solutions to customers and communities supported by our team of 2,100 employees. WIN Waste Innovations is a vertically integrated business with a platform of 50 strategically located collection, transfer, and disposal assets. These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream.
We currently have an opening for a Credit and Collections Analyst at our corporate office in Portsmouth, NH.
Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
* Make collection calls to existing customer base while monitoring credit limits and past due.
* Prepares and sends Accounts Receivable past due notices. Follows up as necessary with telephone calls and/or written communications. Logs all activity in individual customer files in computer.
* Processes new customer credit applications, and researches customers' financials, organizational and payment history utilizing credit reference letters and credit reports.
* Prepares accounts for 3rd party action.
* Performs daily reconciling of misapplied cash, duplicate payments, etc.
* Transmits available credit experience information on selected customers to approved credit group association.
* Prepares and submits various accounts receivable reports, such as accounts receivable statistics, aged accounts receivable, and days sales outstanding.
Education and Experience:
* Required: Associate degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar Collections.
* Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience.
