Position Summary
The Director, Continuous Improvement will lead the organization in developing and sustaining a culture of Lean principles and continuous improvement. This role will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering collaboration across departments to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a change leader, capable of inspiring teams to embrace innovative solutions and streamlined processes.

Position Summary
The Director, Continuous Improvement will lead the organization in developing and sustaining a culture of Lean principles and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a change leader, capable of inspiring teams to embrace innovative solutions and streamlined processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build a Culture of Lean and Continuous Improvement
- Act as a change agent, championing Lean methodologies and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on Lean tools, principles, and best practices.
- Inspire cross-functional teams to embrace continuous improvement.
- Use a variety of trainings, communications, and other tools (recognition programs, etc.) to engage the organization on continuous improvement
- Process Improvement
- Partner cross-functionally to identify areas of inefficiency and develop strategies for improvement.
- Utilize data-driven methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis to address opportunities.
- Implement standardized processes to enhance productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership and peers to align key initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Monitor and measure improvements to ensure sustainable results.
- Project Management
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and driving cost savings.
- Establish clear project goals, timelines, and metrics for success.
- Manage resources effectively and ensure accountability for each project's outcomes.
- Oversee the Continuous Improvement Roadmap and Track Results
- Develop, maintain, and execute the organization's continuous improvement roadmap.
- Set clear objectives, milestones, and performance indicators.
- Track monthly savings and progress of savings to our annual goals.
- Regularly communicate progress updates to stakeholders at all levels, including functional leaders and the executive team.
- Provide leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations for further improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or related roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading organizational change and implementing process improvements; ability to inspire, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams
- A passion for creating impact through cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and team empowerment
- Expertise in Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and change management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proven project management skills: detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple workstreams
- Inclusive and collaborative across a range of internal stakeholders at all levels, with demonstrated ability to manage and lead by influence
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and PowerPoint
