The Role
Fidelity Institutional is seeking a Director, FI Product and Distribution Enablement to play a critical role in shaping how we enable and support financial advisors through our Investment Specialists organization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, insights, and execution-serving as a central authority on advisor needs and translating those needs into scalable solutions that drive measurable business impact.
As Director, FI Product and Distribution Enablement, you will be responsible for influencing and operationalizing advisorcentric enablement across the Investment Specialists organization. You'll work horizontally across crossfunctional teams, providing clear ownership for operational enablement initiatives and ensuring that insights from the field are transformed into actionable priorities, execution roadmaps, and enterpriseready processes.
This is a highly collaborative role, partnering closely with Investment Specialists, Practice Management Consultants (PM and C), Marketing, Thought Leadership, Distribution, and Sales teams. You will be expected to influence without authority, align diverse stakeholders, and bring clarity to complex, crossteam initiatives.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Serve as the voice of the advisor within the organization, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs-such as field feedback, PM and C insights, usage data, and reporting-into cohesive, actionable insights.
Translate advisor needs into strategic priorities, execution roadmaps, and measurable outcomes across the Investment Specialists organization.
Lead and support crossteam initiatives that require dedicated ownership, including: Automation of reporting and analytics Dashboard design and implementation Development and operationalization of Thought Leadership insight processes and operating models
Apply strong strategic judgment to make decisions informed by longterm trends, business implications, and evolving advisor needs.
Create leverage for assetclassfocused analysts by ensuring their work is strategically aligned, actionable, and effectively deployed across distribution channels.
Establish scalable processes that improve execution consistency, visibility, and impact across the organization.
Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct authority in a complex, matrixed organization.
Strong experience synthesizing data, insights, and stakeholder input into clear recommendations and execution plans.
Deep familiarity with data, reporting, and analytics platforms (such as FactSet, Tableau, or similar tools).
A strategic mindset with the ability to balance nearterm execution with longterm vision.
5-8 years of experience in wealth management, management consulting, corporate strategy, planning, or a related field.
Strong academic credentials; an MBA, CFA, or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
