HR Business Partner

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Carlisle, PA Dairy Foods HR Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture, building strong relationships with employees, and driving employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Be available to flex your schedule to provide coverage across multiple shifts. This may include working varying hours on different days to ensure all shifts are adequately covered and employee inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly.

  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to improve workplace satisfaction and productivity.

  • Conduct regular check-ins and stay interviews with employees to gather feedback and address concerns proactively.

Policy Implementation and Compliance

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on policy interpretation and implementation.

  • Stay up-to-date with relevant labor laws and regulations to maintain compliance.

Investigations and Conflict Resolution

  • Lead and conduct thorough, impartial investigations into workplace issues and complaints.

  • Mediate conflicts between employees or between employees and management.

  • Recommend and implement appropriate resolutions to workplace disputes.

Recruitment and Retention

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies.

  • Participate in Talent Days and assist in making hiring decisions.

  • Develop and implement retention initiatives to reduce employee turnover.

  • Conduct exit interviews to gather insights for improving retention strategies.

Performance Management and Development

  • Partner with managers to implement performance management processes.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on giving effective feedback and conducting performance reviews.

  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate appropriate programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 5 plus years or Associate's degree in human resources or a related field, plus 3 plus years of HR Generalist/Business Partner experience.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of an organization.

  • Experience with HR information systems and data analysis.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.

The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented professional who can effectively balance the needs of employees with organizational goals. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

This is an onsite position. Virtual or hybrid not available.

Salary range: $69,040 - $103,560
