Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Finance Transformation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will lead and implement large-scale projects aimed at modernizing our finance function. Your work will focus on establishing integrated, standardized, and automated end-to-end processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial data and reporting. Responsibilities:
Use a comprehensive blend of finance, project management, and systems expertise to lead large finance transformation projects, formulate plans, oversee timelines, and ensure project execution aligns with objectives.
Build/operate highly available, data pipelines, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
Design and implementing data solutions on cloud platforms AWS
Translating complex business requests into technical requirements by designing solutions to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities using data modeling and dimensional modeling techniques.
Develop automated solutions to streamline financial processes by centralizing and standardizing data from various sources to support downstream process and reporting
Demonstrated strength in data modeling, SQL development, and data warehousing
Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions and data engineering strategy
Provide direction to consultants and team members on best practices in finance and technology integration.
Delegate project resources and work cross-functionally to deliver integrated, cost-effective solutions.
Supervise the integration and optimization of financial systems to enhance operational efficiency
Provide technical leadership, cultivate team capabilities and mentor analysts for best practices on data architecture, data modeling, and data transformation, and perform code review sessions.
Spearhead innovation in financial processes and systems.
Provide critical analysis and support for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
Broad experience and expertise in project management, data analysis, transformation, integration of finance systems, and strategic consultation between finance and technology (typically eight to ten years)
Strategic thinker with excellent consulting skills to offer strategic direction on best practices in finance transformation
Proficient in overseeing large-scale extensive projects and steering outcomes
Advanced finance systems knowledge to oversee integrations
Preferred Qualifications:
Data or Systems Analyst experience in the actuarial/insurance domain
Knowledge of actuarial data and processes.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL for data processing and manipulation.
Experience with advanced analytics techniques, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, and data visualization
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, or Quicksight.
Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
Strong ability to work with client stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with limited oversight.
Working Conditions:
Non-commuting Remote employees will not be assigned to report to a Company office location (although they may need to travel to a Company office upon request) and will perform their work remotely.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $96,000 - $120,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
