Start something special today. Northmarq was voted by Real Estate Forum as one of The Best Places to Work in Commercial Real Estate!    The position requires a detail-oriented individual, who is a strong communicator and problem solver.  The core functions of this position include boarding new loans into our loan servicing system, monitoring group email inbox, and facilitating conversations with Lenders and Borrowers.   *This position offers a flexible work environment and is available for an immediate start.   Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide premier customer service to lenders, borrowers, other Northmarq staff, and outside vendors.
  • Review Salesforce for expected loans closing and ensure data is accurate.
  • Obtain loan documents after closing within the expected time frames to ensure accurate setup.
  • Review loan documentation and accurately setup loan terms into the loan servicing system.
  • Analyze data and process, locate, and correct inconsistencies to ensure no impact to others.
  • Navigate the specific nuances of each individual lender.
  • Plan and schedule own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in the boarding of mass transfer-in loans.
  • Aid in new hire and department wide trainings.
  • Monitor and process emails from group/shared email inbox.
  • Growth mindset, with a desire to continuously learn new skills.
  • Create strong foundation of commercial loan servicing knowledge.
  • Provide general operational support to other areas.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks/projects, as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or applicable business experience.
  • 2-3 years of related office experience. Background in commercial lender, servicing, or real estate, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word. 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; plan, set and adhere to time constraints
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills to reflect level of responsibilities
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information

Minnesota Residents: Northmarq carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range for the Loan Operations Specialist II position is $28.00 to $33.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate and the actual compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
