Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Software Analyst to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. The qualified candidate will join our UK Logistics/CLASP team in Rockville, MD and support the U.S. and UK users of the Comprehensive Logistics Automated Support Program (CLASP) which provides U.S. logistics data to support the UK Trident II Strategic Weapon System (SWS), Strategic Weapons Support Systems (SWSS), and Selected Ship Systems (SSS) for the UK Vanguard and Dreadnought class Trident II submarines. CLASP also provides online processing and monitoring of UK requisitions submitted to the U.S. CLASP is sponsored by our U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Program (SSP) logistics customer. The successful candidate will be involved with learning the features and functionality of CLASP, as well as interacting with customers and the BAE Systems' CLASP engineers.

This position is responsible for:

Supporting UK Logistics/CLASP team with CLASP help desk requests from users.
Learning the features and functionality of the CLASP system and assist with in-person and virtual training sessions for new CLASP users.
Support the Logistics Exchange (LOGEX) meetings held twice a year. Support includes working with the SSP customer to finalize the agenda and attendees list, preparing several BAE Systems' presentations, collecting presentations from U.S. and UK attendees, compiling the LOGEX notebook, participating in the LOGEX meetings, and compiling the minutes from the LOGEX meetings.
Participate in other UK Logistics meetings in support of the SSP customer.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a similar field with four (4) or more years of related or relevant work experience.

Additional skills/experience required:

Working knowledge of Navy Logistics Systems
Working knowledge of Unix and SQL / PL SQL
Excellent verbal and written skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Knowledge of Navy Logistics / SWS Submarine program
Solid working knowledge of Oracle Forms / Reports / BI Publisher
Working knowledge with "C" Structured Programming Language
Knowledge and experience working with Common Business-Oriented Language (COBOL)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
