Medical Assistant Phlebotomist
Fairfax, VA
Pay From: $20 Per Hour
MUST:
Medical Assistant Diploma
4+ years of experience as a medical assistant in a clinical research or private practice setting
4+ years of phlebotomy experience
Processing and testing specimens
Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
Assisting with exams and procedures
Document and update patient information in EMR
Act as a patient advocate
The duties of the Medical Assistant Phlebotomist include but are not limited to the following:
Room patients
Obtain vitals and histories
Perform ECGs
Assists with procedures or examinations
Draw blood
Process and test specimens
Prepare laboratory requisitions
Maintain supplies and inventory
Clean rooms and stations
