What you'll do:

Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems for federal clients.
Work within a multidisciplinary team to build, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions.
Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines and ML workflows.
Help integrate AI capabilities with existing federal IT systems.
Implement and maintain ML models in production environments.
Follow best practices for model monitoring, maintenance, and improvement.
Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Stay current with emerging AI technologies and methodologies.

What we'd like you to have:

Experience in machine learning, data science, or a related technical field.
Understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks.
Experience with Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar.
Knowledge of data processing and feature engineering techniques.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model development and deployment.
Understanding of ML model evaluation, testing, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of AI ethics considerations and bias mitigation approaches.
Experience with version control systems and collaborative development.
Communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

What would blow us away:

You have experience with NLP, computer vision, or generative AI technologies.
You've worked in federal IT environments or government technology projects, and you understand data privacy and security requirements in government contexts.
Your knowledge of MLOps practices and tools continues to grow.
You may have been a DevOps Engineer in a previous life, as you have experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
