Summary
The Operations Associate will report to ECU’s Office Manager. The Operations Associate will assist in all matters of ECU’s physical operations, including daily office responsibilities and assisting ECU’s claims department. This is an in office position only and the staff member must be able to commute to ECU’s office on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Opening and distributing all incoming mail and packages.
- Answering ECU’s main phone line in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assisting ECU’s Office Manager with building management responsibilities, including communications with various building maintenance providers.
- Maintain ECU’s premium intake payment spreadsheet.
- Send overdue premium notices to ECU clients.
- Assisting claims department with outgoing mail.
- Assisting with entering claim notices into ECU’s adjudication system.
- Assisting claims department with weekly filings.
- Maintain office files and equipment.
- Other duties requested by supervisor.
Experience
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of on-site office experience in a team environment preferred.
- Candidates should already be very familiar with and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

The base salary range for this position is $34,000 – $45,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
