Parking Communications Specialist – Onsite
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000; Commensurate with experience
Work Modality: Onsite
Location: Columbus, Ohio, at The Ohio State University (OSU)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing appropriate communications for informing the company’s leadership team, Propark managers and operator partners about key projects and programs
- Consistently update various logs, spreadsheets, and operating reports related to daily operations, construction, events, and finance
- Implement and maintain CampusParc website guidelines and strategy consistent with the company’s mission, vision, and values
- Continuously audit, update, or populate new content for the CampusParc website, as necessary
- Draft and edit corporate materials for various audiences, including business and strategic plans, internal communications plans, company policies and guidelines, messaging, scripts, talking points, social media posts and surveys
- Build and maintain positive customer and audience relationships and partnerships, as well as relationships with key contacts and stakeholders at Ohio State University
- Provide additional support with the administration of social media content
- Assist with management of external communication outlets associated to the operation; i.e. BBB account, Google Reviews response support.
- Integrate the CampusParc brand, including visual identity, behaviors, and tone of communications, into various business operations as appropriate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in communications or related field (highly preferred)
- Strong Adobe and Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
- 2-3 years communications and/or public relations experience, with 2 year specific to communications.
- Must have excellent project management and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal business communication skills
- High-level of integrity and discretion when presented with sensitive or confidential issues
- Strong writer who can connect and distill key messages and present them in a compelling way to multiple internal audiences.
- Great people skills: diplomacy, integrity and presence that enables you to build strong relationships and work effectively up, down and across organizations.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are flexible, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity and adapt easily to change.
