Project Manager - Social
This is a 40 hour/week hybrid role that requires being onsite near the Atlanta Airport (Hapeville, GA) 2 days/week and working regular business hours. This is not negotiable.
We are seeking a Project Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality social media projects on time and on budget. This role involves working directly with internal teams to execute social strategy, content, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and document processes for the new Social PM function.
Develop key Workfront artifacts like templates, custom forms, and reports to support social strategy projects. - Create and maintain project plans with cross-team dependencies within Workfront.
- Assist in making project assignments among the social strategy team.
- Allocate resources effectively.
- Maintain task lists, due dates, and project statuses within Workfront for multiple projects.
- Identify efficiencies in timelines through cross-collaboration with project manager peers.
- Ensure the social strategy team is informed on existing initiatives and that work is represented in a project plan.
- Keep Operations and Social leaders informed on team bandwidth issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the social strategy team, leading status calls, building relationships, maintaining timelines, and escalating issues.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of proven project management experience in an agency or in-house setting.
- Experience and knowledge using Workfront.
- Experience in building new processes that enable efficiency and effectiveness.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid on-site and work-from-home setting.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Self-starter, eager to learn processes quickly and optimize as needed.
- Adaptable and flexible to try new things and support the team.
- Understanding of social content development, influencer marketing, and audience engagement project processes.
- Knowledge in vendor management is a plus.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
