Job Summary:

Leads the launch of strategic and cross-partnership programs, overseeing planning, governance, and execution processes. Guides internal consulting teams to ensure consistency and quality in modeling, planning, and outcomes. Develops and presents strategic plans, analyses, and roadmaps to support informed decision-making and secure leadership approval. Drives impactful insights and solutions that shape the organization’s short- and long-term results, with decisions carrying significant long-term business implications.

Job Responsibility:
  • Leads the development and implementation of long-range plans, aligning strategic, operational, organizational, and financial levers to drive rapid growth and impact. Provides expert guidance on resource allocation, work plans, timelines, and financial outcomes to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently.
  • Validates and monitors the progress of the business portfolio, focusing on the execution of enterprise-wide initiatives. Establishes and enforces robust methodologies, tools, standards, and compliance processes to support effective program and project management across the organization.
  • Partners with senior management and cross-functional teams to align resources and objectives for major strategic decisions. Builds and maintains internal and external partnerships to enhance collaboration and ensure results-oriented execution.
  • Oversees all governance activities for the business unit, including chairing key meetings, setting agendas, managing execution, and ensuring deliverables are appropriately owned and achieved. Provides clear, actionable communication of program and project statuses to stakeholders and executives.
  • Develops and manages operating budgets, forecasts, and financials for the portfolio. Conducts in-depth financial analysis, including ROI and IRR evaluations, to guide program costs and benefits. Influences significant investment and contract approvals, ensuring controlled execution of approved budgets.
  • Manages and develops a team of directors, senior managers, program managers, and other staff. Ensures optimal deployment of internal and external resources to build efficient and effective project teams that meet organizational demands.
  • Engages with business leaders and partners to define requirements, shape program scope, and drive growth initiatives. Transfers knowledge, interprets data, and fosters collaboration across departments and external stakeholders to deliver impactful insights and solutions.
  • Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and energy in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Resolves high-level conflicts and inspires teams through motivational leadership, role-modeling a culture of performance, innovation, and agile growth.

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. External Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree and at least 8 years of experience in Healthcare, Pharmacy/Retail Industries OR High School/GED and at least 11 years of experience in Healthcare, Pharmacy/Retail Industries
  • Experience defining developing portfolio management processes, methods and best practices (for example planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure execution of business initiatives and proactively identify risks experience in developing and implementing mitigation strategies to remove barriers to execution
  • Experience developing and integrating business processes, protocols, process improvement, and best practices.
  • Experience defining, documenting, and communicating requirements for business growth and socializing across governance structures (partnership, investor, etc.)
  • Experience facilitating and leading executive level discussions across the enterprise, breaking down internal/external barriers and gathering support for initiatives and business plans.
  • Experience negotiating with and/or influencing senior executives, partners, and investors.
  • Experience developing budgets and managing resource allocation
  • Experience with conceptual problem solving quantitative analysis, business modeling and interpreting and modeling financial statements
  • At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent business degree
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage 360
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills and credibility; ability to effectively engage senior leadership; ability to build trust and transparency with BU leadership and work closely with all levels; ability to thought-partner and influence
  • Experience identifying operational and/or growth issues and recommending and implementing comprehensive strategies to resolve problems
  • At least 4 years of experience in HealthCare and Technology industries
  • Experience identifying financial growth opportunities, creating avenues to accomplish them, and influencing executive management support
  • Experience managing outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences.
  • Experience defining and leading change initiatives in a matrix organization
  • Specific understanding of Payor and Provider business models and CMS guidelines
