What You'll Do
- Serve as public-sector pricing SME on all aspects of US Federal Government and State and Local Government proposal price volume preparation
- Advise proposal teams on RFP requirements and facilitate pricing reviews with leadership to determine pricing strategy and methodology
- Develop and maintain a library of price volume and basis of estimate (BOE) templates, pricing narratives, and situational examples
- Collaborate with team members to document and implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and enabling knowledge sharing
- Track, analyze, and report BCG's historical pricing and proposal trends
- Maintain pricing support documentation consistent with BCG's commercial sales practices
- Assist with the governance of BCG's General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and other contract vehicles, including state and local government cooperative agreements and Master Services Agreements to ensure continued compliance and audit readiness
- Support price negotiations with both clients and vendors/subcontractors
- Prepare commercial-items determination letters and various other pricing narratives, statements, forms, and disclosures
- Interface with public sector contracts, proposal, and commercial teams, in addition to other internal stakeholders to support strategic agenda
- Understand internal and external pricing dynamics and stay connected to market changes
- Conduct market research, financial modeling, special projects, and other support duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
- Subject matter expertise on US Federal Government and US State and Local Government acquisition processes and practices
- Experience with managing various US Government contract types (e.g., IDIQs, MACs, GSA Schedules, BPAs, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of various contract types rules covering Government procurement, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and other agency FAR supplements
- Experience with commercial services and commercial products contracting (i.e., FAR Part 12)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative discipline required
- Advanced/expert proficiency with MS Excel. Above average proficiency with other spreadsheet and office software programs (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Advanced degree in a business field (e.g., MBA) preferred
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is required
- 5+ yrs. Experience with pricing in the Federal Government and State and Local Government environments. Experience in consulting and professional services strongly preferred.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
We expect total annualized compensation for Washington D.C.- based employees to be approximately the following:
- Base salary between $103,000 - $125,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period - First year annualized target total compensation: $ 116,802- $141,750 (USD)
