BAE Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for an exciting opportunity developing new capabilities for the Sentinel ICBM weapon system at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah. This position work to integrate electronic components and signals into the development of a payload used on an ICBM weapon system.
This new ICBM program will design, develop, produce, and deploy new payload system suites (reentry vehicles and/or countermeasures). The key payload attributes include enhancements in accuracy, lethality, and ICBM Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle (RS/RV) interoperable operations. Program activities will also include the employment of digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures.
Responsibilities include
Provide technical advice to Government leaders and engineers.
Support requirements development, analysis of alternatives, verification and validation activities, and milestone preparation.
Prepare/review engineering analysis reports and key acquisition documents, including RFP packages.
Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, certification working groups, and other technical meetings, as required.
Provide guidance and leadership to more junior engineering team members.

Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 7+ years of Electrical Engineering experience or master's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
3+ years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership on a Guidance and Navigation program.
Experience as an electrical engineer on a missile system or other complex weapon system (especially ACAT I program or ICBM-related experience).
Current Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Due to its special-access, classified working environment, this position is only located at Hill AFB, Utah, and is not conducive to telework schedules.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
