As a SOC Cyber Security Expert here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and resilience of our digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, identifying potential threats, and responding to security incidents. Your expertise in cybersecurity will help protect our systems and data from unauthorized access and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.
You will report directly to our Senior Cyber Security Manager and will be based at our Duluth, GA location, following a hybrid work schedule. As part of a special project, you will need to relocate to the Texarkana region for one year.
In this role, you will impact the organization by:
* Monitoring and analyzing security events to identify potential threats
* Conducting investigations and responding to security incidents
* Implementing and maintaining security controls and technologies
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture
* Providing recommendations for improving security policies and procedures

YOU MUST HAVE
* 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
* 5+ Experience with administrating security technologies and tools such as Splunk/Splunk SOAR with
* Strong knowledge of security monitoring and incident response

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
* Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
* Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
