Job Summary:

Plan, coordinate, and direct all tool room functions to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.

Pay Rate $28.20 -$37.39/Hour

• 2nd Shift shift premium .50/hour
• 3rd Shift Premium $1.00/hour

Essential functions of the job:

• Troubleshoot problems with injection molds.
• Repair, fix and implement engineering changes of molds.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Make fixture details.
• Communicate with outside vendors when outsourcing.
• Work with various departments to implement customer concerns.
• Ensure the effective implementation of TS 16949 standards.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.
• Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained.

Required Education:

• Technical School
• Equivalent work experience may also be considered for this position.

Required qualifications:

• 1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience with Mechanical or Process Engineering and Injection Molding.
• Journeyman Toolmaker Certification.
• 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
