We want to find an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented Principal Architect with a focus on PC and Mobility, to help create a digital workspace that will meet the growing needs of our Business and employees.This position can be located in Waltham, MA, Brooklyn, NY, Hicksville, NY, or Syracuse, NY (candidates may also reside in either Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Maine). What you'll do

As a PrincipalArchitect, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance user experiences on PCs and mobile devices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure architectures that meet business requirements. Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Design and architect solutions for PC and mobile platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end solutions, from concept to deployment, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in PC and mobile development.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support and expertise to internal teams and clients.

About you

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong focus on PC and mobile solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of PC and mobile operating systems, frameworks, and development tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Networks, Cellular and Wi-Fi
  • Strong Knowledge of Windows 10, 11 and O365
  • Knowledge of Intune Capabilities to manage devices and integration with Configuration Manager
  • Experience architecting and deploying solutions for PCs and Mobile devices
  • Experience on automation tasks
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Our organization follows a hybrid work structure in our service territory (NY & MA and adjacent states) where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed. Salary

Dowstate NY $173,000 - $204,000 a year

Massachusetts $162,000 - $191,000 a year

Upstate NY$145,000 - $170,000 a year

Salary is commensurate with experience and location

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
