Position Overview:

The PD Home Analyst will support the daily execution of new product development projects from inception to product launch.  The Analyst will be responsible for asset management, supporting supplier communication, project management, and management of relationships with cross functional partners.

Prior experience in Home & Lifestyle product development is essential, experience in Textile development is a plus.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Management: 

  • Execute project plan throughout all phases of development for multiple projects of varying scope.
  • Communicate key project milestones and deliverables to supplier base and cross functional partners to ensure project timeline is upheld.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to monitor and track key milestones progress throughout development.
  • Identify project risk and work closely with project manager on mitigation plan.
  • Provide up to date product and/or development information to key stake holders to maintain project plan and cross functional alignment. 
  • Communicate cost updates to Merchandising counterparts throughout development.
  • Partner with team & vendor to ensure accurate sample needs are outlined for each project, including material requests for pre-development testing. 

Project Sample Management:

  • Manage all incoming/outgoing samples. Responsible for moving samples between suppliers and internal teams; coordinating with QA/Design for their review.
  • Responsible for maintaining organized conference rooms/cabinets.
  • Coordinate samples to support Ecomm, Marketing, PR, and Senior Leadership needs.
  • Prepare samples for weekly meeting presentations, conferences and other business needs.
  • Manage Bi-yearly sample reconciliation for both PC & Stock samples.

Operational Support:

  • Input & maintain data integrity throughout various product development tools and systems, to establish and guide project plan.
  • Manage TPM Signoff Process - End to end ownership of systematic sign off for SKUs with cross functional teams to meet launch date.
  • Manage payment processing and database entry for samples, CER, & expense in COUPA. Follow up with Accounts payable counterparts for any open invoice resolution.

Required Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will have 2+ years product development experience with expertise in home, fashion textiles, luxury or interior design. S/he will be very curious and eager to discover new territories, will think out of the box. S/he will have a refined taste level and a true product sensibility. S/he will have an overall knowledge/experience of retail business practices, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with adaptability to new software, ability to think strategically – then implement steps to achieve goals.  Must have excellent organizational, communication and written skills, ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, strong interpersonal skills and diplomatic.  Undergraduate degree from an accredited University.  

The hiring range for this position is $5,556.35 (€ 5072.76) per month.
